New Information

Okay, Aaron's parents have found a buyer. They plan on closing on June 25.

Aaron is coming back into town on June 4th, about a week later we will be driving out to AR together as a family. After Aaron's parent's buyers close, then Aaron's parents close on our house, and we close on a house in AR then we will fly back to Salt Lake and get all of our stuff moved out.

I know it still sounds like every thing is up in the air, but this is the closest thing we have had to a real plan and dates. Their is a glimmer of hope.

This Old House

Aaron's mom and I painted my laundry room and kitchen ceiling today. Vaughn was an incredible "help". We stripped him down because I couldn't find his grunge clothes. Doesn't he really know how to rock a diaper and Sunday shoes? That's my boy ;)

Actually, he is totally Aaron's son. Vaughn knew what to do, like he was born to paint. That's how he has been when it comes to any remodeling projects at home. Vaughn watches and then becomes the pro.

Happy Burpday

My birthday was yesterday. For all those who are wondering, I am now 28. The day started out pretty good. I was in a good mood, motivated, and I successfully got Ethan off to school. Some friends from my ward took me out to lunch at Habenero's, then later my parents took me out to dinner at Fazoli's. The night before Aaron's parents took me out to dinner also, so I'm pretty sick of eating out. Any way after dinner I went to get my ears pierced. I lost my i.d. earlier in the day so I couldn't get my ears pierced (the lady said I looked too young, just what you want to hear on your birthday ;)) But she said if my mom had her i.d. she could sign on the parent consent line and I would be good to go. So there you go. I'm 10 years older than the legal age to get pierced on my own, but I still had to have my mom's "approval". Pretty funny.

Sorry to those who have the story already.

Today my family celebrated mine and my dad's birthdays. Russell gave me 3 really cool shirts. And my parents gave me a couple of stamping blocks and two books on copperplate calligraphy. I'm really excited about the books. It has been really easy for my to find Arabic and other style calligraphy books. I'm tired of that kind and look forward to the challenge of copperplate.

By the way my birthday didn't end up that great just because Vaughn got very sick and I had to go home with him instead of watching a movie with my family.

Aaron's parents got their house on the market yesterday. Today they had some one look at it. I'm very excited about it. Just seeing that lock box on their door made it all feel real, like I might actually get to live with my husband again.

Aaron will be coming home for a visit on the 30th. We are done working on his parent's house to get it ready for the market, so I'm guessing his time home will be spent working on our house again.

The other day I was looking at my legs and saw all the bruises I accrued last Monday while taking snowboarding lessons. I had a couple bruises on my right leg, but mostly on my left leg. I was falling a lot on my left side because I wasn't very good at turning left. Turning left required me to dig my toes in and that made me feel like I was going to fall on my face. None of my brothers, nor my husband, complained of bruising on one side more than another, much less being bruised at all. humph.

These are the requirements that must be met before I take snowboarding lessons again:

• I must be in shape


• I must go to Brighton (Nathan swears they give better lessons there.)


• I must have a slammin' herring bone and corduroy snow suite.

For those very few that have read my blog and say to yourself "dang she needs grammar lessons." you are right. If you know of any online grammar tutorials that are basic, but particularly good let me know. I'm sure I won't bruise my self nearly as bad as I would with snowboarding lessons.

Aaron was out to visit for a few days. He went back just last Wednesday. It was a very nice visit, it wasn't as packed with working on the house. We were able to be together a lot more as a family.

• We are almost done with our house. We just have sideing and baseboards left to do. Plus a whole lot yard clean up.


• We are moving to Arkansas for Aaron's job. I'm learning to be excited about it.


• Aaron's parents will probably be the ones to buy our house :)
